May Event: Sixth Annual Crawfish Boil

PLEASE RSVP BY CONTACTING A BOARD MEMBER. Admission is free if you pay your annual $50 dues at the boil; otherwise, it is $10/person.

Don’t forget to submit your T-Shirt designs. The design that gets the most votes will be the 2011 – 2012 T-Shirt design and you will win free membership for one year!

T-Shirt Design Rules

  1. All designs must be submitted by noon on the day of the Crawfish Boil (Sat., May 28, 2011).
  2. Must contain the website (www.kreweofpasbons.com) somewhere on the shirt.
  3. Please make the Krewe name visible.
  4. No obscenities, nothing illegal, and no photos are allowed in the designs. Photographs do not come out clearly using screen printing unless you have a full-color shirt.
  5. Be careful with copyrighted information. Try to use generic clipart or original artwork.
  6. When you make your design, please keep in mind that it will be printed on a purple shirt, so please keep the design colors light.
  7. If you need the Krewe logo. Please email the Krewe and I will send it to you.**IMPORTANT** All designs must be press-ready when submitted.
  8. You will need to send your finalized design to the Krewe’s email kreweofpasbons@gmail.com. It may also be a good idea to send it to your email address as a back-up. If you need a good design site, I always recommend www.customink.com/lab.
  9. Finally, be creative!! Please use this as an opportunity to make your mark in the Krewe. I know many of you Pasbons have great ideas that you would like to put on our shirts.

March Event: Spanish Town Parade

Time: Parade starts at 12:00pm
Place: Corner of North St. and Fourth St. in Baton Rouge in front of Capital One bank

Come party with the Krewe and celebrate the Mardi gras season! You may want to show up early as parking does become limited as the parade time nears. Make sure to BYOB and meet the Krewe at the above location. We will try to bring a tent/funnel if the spot allows. Bring a chair!

January Event: Basketball Extravaganza

Time: 3:00pm, meet at Jeremy and Holly’s house if you are not going to the LSU vs. Ole Miss Basketball game at 12:30pm
Place: The Hive, New Orleans, Hornets vs. Spurs, 7:00pm tipoff

If you did not preorder your ticket with Jeremy, you will need to go to the Hornets’ website to order your ticket. Please meet at Jeremy and Holly’s house by 3:00pm if you will be riding with us. We will be spending some time in New Orleans after the game :)

December Event: Krewe Christmas Party/White Elephant Gift Exchange

Calling all Pasbons up for a challenge! Do you think you have what it takes to take on Big Mac Night? Only the strongest will survive this epic event. BYOB, bring snacks, caffeine, and a chair because you will need all of those things to stay up all night. The survivors will meet at the McDonald’s on Jefferson and Drusilla for celebratory Big Mac sandwiches. See you there!
