Rules

  • All members must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcohol.
  • All members, returning and new, must submit a new, fully completed, membership application by September 15, 2010. If you have not completed your application, please see a Board Member.
  • The annual dues of $50.00 to be paid in full no later than September 15, 2010. Payments are accepted only at meetings, events, online or as delivered to the Krewe’s post office box address. The annual dues cover a Krewe shirt, food for football home games, and one additional Krewe item. To ensure you receive all of your Krewe benefits, please pay your annual dues in full by September 15, 2010.
  • THE ANNUAL DUES ARE NONTRANSFERABLE. SUBSTITUTIONS IN MEMBERSHIP FOR PARTICIPATION IN ANY KREWE EVENT ARE NOT ALLOWED UNLESS PREDETERMINED BY THE BOARD MEMBERS.
  • Additional donations are always welcomed and shall be received by a Board Member.
  • Should a member resign from the Krewe, a letter of resignation must be sent to the Krewe’s post office box or email address by September 1, 2010. Otherwise member remains responsible for the 2010 membership dues. Any dues paid to the Krewe prior to resignation are non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • An annual dues payment is required to maintain active Krewe member status. Dues amounts will be reviewed periodically and are subject to change. Membership will not be processed without receipt of the fully executed application and annual dues payment.
  • A service charge of $25.00 will be assessed on all NSF checks.
  • When submitting any payments to the Krewe of Pasbons, check or money order must indicate for whom and for what the payment is intended.  If payment is for more than one item and/or one member, please indicate the breakdown of how to apply the payment on the check. You should always receive a receipt for all cash payments.  It is the responsibility of the member to prove that payment has been made should any discrepancy arise.
  • The Pasbons Logo is copyrighted.  Duplication of the logo is only allowed with written approval by the Board Members.  All paraphernalia used in the Krewe’s activities, such as electronic equipment, tents, etc., are the property of the Krewe of Pasbons unless otherwise indicated.  No vendor shall be permitted to sell their merchandise, at any Pasbons function, without written consent by the Board Members.
  • The purpose of the Krewe is of social nature. All paid Krewe members are required to participate in at least one event per year to be considered active. The only exceptions are for medical or personal emergencies. Membership status for those cases will be determined by the Board Members on a case by case basis.
  • Assessments will be made against members for failure to comply with Krewe rules. Should a member violate any of the Krewe’s rules and regulations, the Board Members reserve the right to terminate their membership. At such time of termination, the member will forfeit any monies paid.
  • By submitting the executed Membership Application, member agrees that they are participating in all Krewe activities at their own risk and hereby further agree to hold harmless the Krewe for any injury, etc. that may occur in association with the Krewe of Pasbons’ activities.

Code of Conduct

It is the intent of the Krewe to have an enjoyable time at all events, while maintaining an image that is respected by event spectators, event sponsors, and law enforcement officers. It is important to remember that there will be children and young adults at some events and Krewe members should act accordingly. While in “the public’s eye” all members, involved in the use of repeated profanity, violence, nudity, drug use, uncontrollable intoxication or any other unacceptable behavior may face suspension or expulsion from the Krewe, without any dues refunds. If a Krewe member witnesses such activity, whether by a Krewe member or visitor, it is their responsibility to report the offender to a Krewe Board Member. Incidents will be reviewed on a case by case basis by The Board.
